Voyager Safety Systems | Marine Docking System
IBEX 2025 Innovation Award Video Submission
Overview
I produced a video submission for IBEX 2025 on behalf of Voyager Safety Systems in partnership with JC Tritoon, showcasing a new multi-camera docking system for pontoon boats. The technology uses four side-mounted cameras to help boaters clearly see their distance from the dock, improving visibility and control both day and night.
Challenges
This project came together under pressure after an internal oversight left us with just one week before the IBEX submission deadline. We had almost no product photography and virtually no usable footage, which meant building a compelling innovation story with extremely limited visual assets.
Process
I wrote the script, recorded and mixed the voiceover in Reaper, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, and created all compositing and motion graphics in After Effects. I repurposed drone footage from an internal PowerPoint presentation and transformed minimal assets into a polished submission video. The result helped secure the 2025 IBEX Innovation Award, proving that strong storytelling and execution can elevate even the leanest production circumstances.
