Teaser Commercial

Overview

This teaser video for the Voyager All-In-One (AIO) system highlighted the disparity in safety technology between consumer vehicles and commercial vehicles. The ad followed a driver’s journey to work, showcasing advanced safety features in their personal car, only to contrast it with the lack of similar features in their commercial truck—despite the higher risks and valuable cargo involved.

Challenges

The challenge was crafting a relatable yet thought-provoking narrative that underscored the need for the Voyager AIO system. Additionally, after the initial video’s launch, creating alternate endings for different vehicle types required balancing consistency with tailored messaging for specific audiences.

Process

I took charge of the entire production, from scripting and storyboarding to directing, shooting, and editing. After completing the primary version, I expanded the project by filming additional endings tailored to various commercial vehicle segments, ensuring the ad spoke directly to diverse audiences in the industry.

Alternate Endings

With the success and approval of the original teaser commercial, the client asked for two additional endings showing the character entering commercial vehicles of different subcategories. This aimed to target specific client categories within the commercial vehicle industry.

This alternate ending features our character entering a Step Van. This version of the ad was geotargeted towards Step Van manufacturers.

Alternate Ending #2

This alternate ending features our character entering a Shuttle Bus. This version of the ad was geotargeted at Shuttle Bus manufacturers.
